This past week, the business updated its Facebook Page to announce that it will close for good at the end of this month.
The business that has occupied the same spot on Park Street for over 3 decades will shut down, but you have a few more days to visit and reminisce.
"After more than 30 years as part of the Milo community, Pat’s Pizza Milo will be closing its doors...This decision was not made lightly. Pat’s has been a local staple for decades, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who walked through our doors, shared a meal with family and friends, and made Pat’s a part of their lives...We’ll remain open through January 31st, so stop in, say hello, and enjoy another pie."
Folks took to the comment section to voice their sadness about the closure of this iconic spot.
One person wrote:
"To say I’m disappointed and saddened is an understatement. Pat’s had become a regular hangout for myself since I turned 21 in 2019. For a few years there was rarely a weekend you wouldn’t find myself, Ian, Justin, and Lee there. A lot of good and lifelong memories."
Another said:
"Thank you, Bobbie for all those years. It’s incredibly challenging to be a business owner. Only those who venture and take the risk know how difficult it is and the sacrifices you must make. Time for a new chapter. You have earned it."
Not too far down the road from Pat's Pizza, on Elm Street in Milo, the old Bissell Brothers Brewery, which opened in 2018 but closed at the end of 2024, is starting to see some new activity after reopening under a new name and ownership.

Rail Yard Brewing and the Rusty Rail Taproom, opened early in the month by Piscataquis County natives John Riitano and Tracy Bonney-Corson, has provided folks in Milo with another restaurant option.

While Pat's management hinted that the building would be repurposed as something new, there's no news as to what will go in the old Pat's Pizza location. We will have to wait and see what's coming.
Aside from the Milo location, which is closing, Pat's Pizza has restaurants in Orono, Holden, Machias, Dover-Foxcroft, Lincoln, Presque Isle, Ellsworth, Bar Harbor, Yarmouth, Brunswick, and Hampden.
