Hampden Police Arrest Connecticut Man Wanted on Firearms Charges
A man wanted on multiple charges in Connecticut was arrested on Sunday in a Hampden, Maine mobile home park.
Where Was He Taken Into Custody?
Richard Ware, 33, of Connecticut was arrested at the Hampden Mobile Estates at around 1:30 Sunday afternoon.

How Was He Located?
Hampden Public Safety officials say he was tracked down by the All State Fugitive Recovery agency in Connecticut. The police used pepper spray while taking Ware into custody, and he was then treated by Hampden EMS.
What Charges Does He Face?
Ware is wanted for several felony charges in New Haven, Connecticut:
- Criminal possession of a firearm
- Carrying a pistol without a permit
- Possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle
- Violating a protection order
WVII-TV reports that no weapons were found at the scene.
He's being held at the Penobscot County Jail until he can be extradited to Connecticut.
