If you are lucky enough to have a long weekend, a 4 day weekend for the 4th, well isn't America great.

Or working on Monday, but off for Independence Day Tuesday.

Either way, here's a great way to celebrate the 4th and it won't hit your pocket book so hard

And a community event that is a free event especially on the 4th of July is welcome, right?

Tuesday the 4th, the Bangor Symphony Orchestra will return to play a free concert on the Bangor waterfront before the fireworks display over the Penobscot River.

The free concert will begin with local band The Stone Doctors, in support of Chords for Cure a locally founded charity that supports Maine children fighting cancer. The Stone Doctors are a Rolling Stones cover band.

It's all free and the concert takes place at Maine Savings Amphitheater.
