Summer Sidewalk Art Festival in Bangor, Maine to Feature Over 100 Local Artists, Vendors

Bangor's annual Summer Sidewalk Art Festival will return on Saturday, July 5, 2025, with over 100 Maine-based artists and vendors.

The downtown festival will take from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Harlow, Franklin, and Central Streets.

The Downtown Bangor Partnership says the art festival will also include live music and plenty of food and drink options.

"This is a wonderful opportunity to shop for unique items from our jury-selected artists from all across the state while enjoying Downtown Bangor in the summer," the DBP says on its website.

"As the premier arts and culture destination in Central Maine, the Downtown Bangor Partnership seeks to highlight the artists and arts organizations located in the Bangor Region."

The DBP says visitors are encouraged to explores the city's downtown area and check out the public art, permanent statues, and numerous galleries.

The event will also provide a boost for local shops and restaurants.
