Have You Seen the Flamboyances of Flamingos on Hampden Lawns?
Let the flocking begin. It is a flamboyance of flamingos, a flamingo flocking. Someone you know and love having a birthday? What a way to say happy anniversary. It doesn’t matter the occasion, Hampden Academy Music Association will place a flock of flamingos on their lawn. That’s a flamingo flocking. H.A.M.A. President Nancy Fenders says:
We opened up the flocking requests and we received dozens of requests right away. I delivered some flocks last night, and it was a ton of fun.
For a minimum $20 donation, HAMA will place a flock of beautiful flamingos in a community member's home to live for a two-day period.
If you don’t want to have that happen to you, for a $30 donation you can purchase "do not flock insurance"
Flocking information and "do not flock insurance" info here.
Hampden Academy’s Music Association (HAMA) is raising money to send their jazz vocal and jazz instrumental groups to Florida in April of 2022. They aren’t going to Florida for the beaches, although here’s hoping there is some free time for some fun in the sun too, but the purpose is to perform, be judged and attend music workshops at the STARS Performance Program at Universal Studios.
Other ways HAMA is raising money, this coming Monday the 24 between 4 and 8 pm, Chipotle on Stillwater Ave in Bangor will donate 33% of your order. Show them this when you order.
Also coming next month HAMA will hold an Online Silent Auction with a variety of donated items The online silent auction will begin June 21.
