Google Trends Says The Most Uniquely Popular Thanksgiving Search Term In Maine Is….

No, it's not "bed & breakfast", "family restaurant", "deli" or anything respectable like that.

The folks at Google Trends compiled data, because that's what they do so well, that tells us the most uniquely popular searches for Thanksgiving, state by state.  The data from the year 2016 is broken down in two categories, most searched for phrase or word, and search category.

Here in Maine the most searched for word during the Thanksgiving day holiday was "bar."  Yes, we're a fine lot.

Maybe it's because folks were coming in from out of town and the locals wanted to know where to take them for a brew.  Yeah, we'll leave it at that.

By the way, didn't your daddy tell you it's better to call a bar a "lounge", yeah, it sounds much classier.
