LOCATED: Escaped Convict In The Bangor Area

Police say they have located a man who left his Bangor-area home, where he was on house arrest.

The Maine Department of Corrections reports 46-year-old Robert Berry is an inmate at the Mountain View Correctional Facility in Charleston.

He was on home confinement when he disappeared at around 1 p.m. on Tuesday. Berry was in custody after being sentenced in May for theft in York County.

Police say they have now located Mr. Berry and he is, once again, in custody.
