Winter is finally coming, Game of Thrones viewers, and bringing with it Ed Sheeran!

The pop star is slated to make a cameo appearance in Season 7 of the hit HBO show, airing July 16.

On Thursday (June 15), Entertainment Tonight caught up with the "Castle on the Hill" singer at the Songwriters Hall of Fame's 48th Annual Induction and Awards Gala, where Sheeran spoke — quite casually — about his upcoming role on the show.

"I haven't seen it yet! I just know the scene I did, I did with Maisie [Williams], and it's decent. I like it," Sheeran revealed, adding, "Nothing exciting happens in this scene, we just have a conversation and that's kind of it... [It's been] built up too much! People will just be like, 'Oh... Oh, alright.' It's not an integral part of it, at all. I'm just like, in it."

While Sheeran couldn't reveal any more details about his role or the scene, he did dish on the cold weather he encountered while filming.

"I didn't put on my thermal socks and I was outside in the winter in England for about 10 hours. So it was cold," he quipped.

Thankfully, Sheeran fans only have one more month to wait to watch their fave hit up Westeros.
