Blue Hill Woman Dies In Sedgwick Crash

A Blue Hill woman was pronounced dead after a two-vehicle crash on Route 15 in Sedgwick Wednesday morning.

Police identified the victim as Sara Wardamasky, 53, the Ellsworth American reported.

Lt. Rod Charette said Wardamasky was traveling south when her 2004 Subaru station wagon crossed the centerline and struck a pickup truck operated by Jacob Taber, 21, of Bakersfield, California.

Police said road and weather conditions contributed to the accident, which was reported at 10:38 a.m.

Taber was not hurt in the accident.
