After the Patriots loss in the Super Bowl, Bangor's mayor is making good on his wager.

Prior to the big game, Bangor, Maine Mayor Ben Sprague made a fun bet with Bangor, Pennsylvania Mayor Brooke Kerzner. If the Patriots won, Mayor Kerzner would send a gift basket of local goodies to Mayor Sprague. Since the Eagles won, Mayor Sprague is sending some Maine, south.

On it's way to Pennsylvania is a box of Maine whoopie pies from Governor's Restaurant in Bangor, a blueberry pie from Dysart's, a case of Moxie, some Bangor souvenirs and a collection of Stephen King books for the Bangor (Pennsylvania) Public Library.

Bangor, Maine missed out on gifts from Bangor, Pennsylvania like chocolates from Chocolates on Broadway, a Growler of beer form Bangor Trust Brewing Company, a pound of fresh roasted coffee from Baby Harry Coffee Co., a goodie basket from Grace on Broadway, and two slate Quoit Boards for the Maine Veteran's Home. Quoit is the Pennsylvania version of horseshoes.

The Patriots lost to the Philadelphia Eagles 41-33.
