1993 - Backstreet Boys

The Backstreet Boys perform their first show at Sea World in Orlando, Florida to 3,000 people.

1998 - Green Day (#MAINECONNECTION)

This week in 1998, Green Day played the Central Maine Civic Center in Lewiston, Maine and this girl (two thumbs) counted down the show 70 days in advance on a physical countdown calendar on her bedroom door.  It's safe to say this girl's dreams came true that week in 1998.

The singer is #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with her single, All For You.

2009 - Adam Lambert

May 8th is declared 'Adam Lambert Day' in San Diego.  The city rejoices.

2011 - Lady Gaga

The pop star first HBO concert, Lady Gaga Presents the Monster Ball Tour at Madison Square Garden is aired.

2014 - Michael Jackson

'Xscape' is released posthumously, featuring 8 tracks of previously unreleased material.
