The Los Angeles Police Department has found one way to get people into protecting their automobiles, they have used America's love of all things zombie.

The LAPD was of course inspired by the smash hit "The Walking Dead" to make a public sevice video. It has the look and feel of something very cheesy from the 1980's. You won't find anyone as heoric and dynamic as Rick here, but it's proving to be an internet sensation, racking up YouTube views and hey if it makes Los Angeleno's lock their car doors, then mission accomplished.
