October 21st - October 27th: See how Michael Jackson, Christina Aguilera, P. Diddy, Maroon 5, and Boys II Men marked this week in history for pop music from the past 30 years.

1992 - Boys II Men

"End Of The Road" by Boyz II Men spends 11 weeks at #1, tying the record longest running #1 single with Elvis Presley's "Don't Be Cruel/Hound Dog".

1999 - Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson is awarded a patent for the system that allows him to lean in unnatural angles as seen during his "Smooth Criminal" performances.  The patent involves special shoes and pegs in the stage.  Not as magical now, is it?

2000 - Christina Aguilera

Xtina is#1 on the billboard hot 100 with "Come On Over (All I Want Is You)". The racy song proves to be her third #1 hit, spending four weeks at #1 and 21 weeks altogether on the charts.

2006 - P. Diddy

Diddy scores his first #1 album on the Billboard 200 since 1997 with Press Play.  The album features many artists including Nicole Scherzinger, Kanye West, Ceelo Green, Christina Aguilera, Big Boi and Timbaland.

2011 - Maroon 5

#1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with "One More Night", becoming the band's third number one single.  But, really,..... muscles (see video below).
