Z Nation Sound Off for the Week of December 7th: Holiday Tree

It's about that time to put up your holiday tree.

Which will you put up/prefer: a freshly cut tree or a fake one?

Kid 

Fake. Well, since it closely resembles the sad little tree from the classic Charlie Brown Christmas special, I have had it far longer than I care to remember. But just like my man, Chuck, they did pick me to direct the Christmas play.

Sarah

Fake.  My fake family Christmas tree was the same one we put up when I was 12 and has been passed along to me to set up and decorate for the holidays.  I like the convenience of having it ready to set up and that it's reusable year-after-year.  We already have it up and Jack is already breaking the ornaments on it.

Cori

Fake.  I would prefer a real one, but have four active kids so the mess is something I can never keep up with. We went with a fake one a few years ago. The beauty of that is that I can plastic wrap the entire thing at the end of the season and take it right down to the basement, ornaments and all!
