Got any tickets? Get off the hook, and help those struggling with hunger.

What a deal! The city of Old Town is offering up a way to pay for those parking tickets with non-perishable food. You can either pay the $20 ticket or bring in a $10 value donation of non-perishables. This includes pasta, macaroni & cheese and canned goods.

Old Town Police will also be accepting donations. However it might not get you off the hook for your led foot.

All the donations will go to the Old Town High School Food bank program. The program feeds students and their families that are in need of assistance.

You can drop off your donation at the Police Department from 7AM to 3:30PM. Any questions? Contact Captain Miller at lmiller@oldtownpd.org.

This offer stands through the end of January.
