This Saturday, a diverse selection of speakers and organizers are planning on appearing in Downtown Bangor to celebrate community and each other.

The event is described as inclusive, intersectional and kid-friendly and will explore education on an array of social topics.

Those participating will be meeting at West Market Square and the event is expected to take place from 11 AM - 2 PM.

Organizations that will be part of the event include: Maine TransNet, Sunlight Media Collective, Bangor Racial & Economic Justice Coalition, Health Equity Alliance, Maine People’s Alliance, Bangor High School Students for Gender Equality, Socialist Party of Maine, U Maine Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies Program, Planned Parenthood of Northern New England, Congregation Beth El Social Action Committee, The Wilson Center, Resources for Organizing & Social Change, Reversing Falls Sanctuary, Peace & Justice Center of Eastern Maine, OUT Maine.
