A 45-year-old woman faces criminal threatening and other charges for allegedly threatening a Bangor motel manager with a hammer.

On Valentine’s Day, Pamela Morin, 45, threatened to kill a manager at the Riverview Motel on State Street, Bangor police Sgt. Tim Cotton told the Bangor Daily News.

Morin, who was staying at the motel at the time of the alleged incident, was charged with felony criminal threatening, misdemeanor assault and criminal mischief.

Cotton said she was arrested again the following day for returning to the motel, a violation of her bail conditions.

The most serious charge, Class C criminal threatening, carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $5,000 fine.
