Police report they found Kathryn Hopkins, 26, passed out with a needle in her arm and her 4-year-old daughter was in the car with her at a gas station in Waterville on Tuesday evening.

Hopkins reportedly admitted to police that she is a heroin addict. She is being charged with driving under the influence of drugs and endangering the welfare of a child. According to WMTW Channel 8, the toddler is in the custody of the child's grandparents.
