Hell hath no fury like a President with an idiotic press corps scorned.

When Jay-Z dissed Barack Obama in his new track, 'Open Letter,' the White House responded. And it was hilarious.

Obama's press secretary Jay Carney was visibly irritated when, during a press conference, a reporter recited Hov's lyrics, then asked if it was true that the rapper got a personal presidential permission to travel to Cuba.

Clearly not amused, Carney dryly told the journalist, who clearly cares about real issues, "I guess nothing rhymes with 'treasury.'" He added smugly, "Because treasury offers and gives licenses for travel. As you know."

Dude's like a palm tree with all this shade.

When the reporter continued to pointlessly grill him, he told her exasperatedly, "I am absolutely saying that the White House, from the President on down, had nothing to do with anybody's travel to Cuba."

She kept going until Carney would entertain her no longer. "Donovan, it's a song."

And with that, Carney pretty much dropped the mic.
