When Will The Chamberlain Bridge Re-Open?

Finally!!!

As someone who uses the Joshua Chamberlain Bridge to go from Bangor to Brewer each morning at 5am, It has been a long time since I have been able to do so, June 20th, being the last time.

Driving to work this morning, I got a lovely flashing message from the sign leading up to the bridge, it will finally re-open to both lanes of traffic, beginning Monday morning, November 4th!

The Maine Department of Transportation started the bridge painting project, way back on May 6th and since then, it's been either 395, or the Penobscot Bridge for us Bangor-ites...is that a word? Either way, I look forward to my normal commute!
