What Musician Mainers Listen to Most

Hint: He made Goodwill a hot shopping spot.

That's right, Mainers jam out to Macklemore the most! Spotify researcher Paul Lamere has combed through more musical data. He's the dude that found Maine's favorite band was R.E.M. back in February. Much like his last round of research, he looked into what artist is played most in each state.

Maine, New Hampshire, Hawaii and eight other states also dig Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. Jay Z dominates the east coast, with Daft Punk running the west coast. Also loving on the Daft Punk is fellow New Englander's Massachusetts. Vermont is all about the English indie rock band ALT-J.
