Police say the subject of a well-being check led them on a chase in Bangor Friday.

When police responded to the well-being check at the corner of Cedar and Main Streets, the individual got in a car and led officers on a chase that ended after the car stopped at the bus terminal in Pickering Square.

Multiple officers then responded with guns drawn, according to WABI.

"Some things transpired during that made him concerned for his safety," Sgt. Jason Stuart told TV5. "We are investigating that portion right now and we have taken four people to the station for questioning. At this point it's too early to say whether or not there are going to be charges."
