Let’s take a break from Batman and Superman for another epic battle — the Alliance vs. the Horde, aka Warcraft. The international trailer for Duncan Jones’ adaptation of the hit MMORPG has arrived, bringing lots of new footage as the two factions prepare for all-out war, and two races unite to protect their future. Orcs and humans fighting together, mass hysteria, etc.

The latest trailer not only offers new battle footage, but it teases some of the more human (or orc, you know, whatever) elements, giving us a better look at characters like Medivh (Ben Foster) and the green-skinned Garona (Paula Patton) — the latter of whom has an interesting role to play in the unsteady alliance, as she’s half-orc and half-human. She also bears an obvious resemblance to Guardians of the Galaxy’s similarly-named Gamora.

Warcraft also stars Dominic Cooper as Llane Wrynn, his Preacher co-star Ruth Negga as Lady Tario, Travis Fimmel as Anduin Lothar, Toby Kebbell as Durotan and Robert Kazinsky as Orgrim. Those are some wild names, but audiences were quite receptive to similarly fantastical stuff in the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit films, and it seems like that’s the target audience Warcraft is aiming for. Here’s the official synopsis:

The peaceful realm of Azeroth stands on the brink of war as its civilization faces a fearsome race of invaders: Orc warriors fleeing their dying home to colonize another. As a portal opens to connect the two worlds, one army faces destruction and the other faces extinction. From opposing sides, two heroes are set on a collision course that will decide the fate of their family, their people and their home. So begins a spectacular saga of power and sacrifice in which war has many faces, and everyone fights for something.

Warcraft hits theaters on June 10.
