The good people at WABI are always so generous to us during "Free The Z" and "Ton of Pasta" that we would like to share their latest fundraising effort with all of our listeners!

One out of every four children in the state of Maine goes hungry and our friends at TV5 are teaming up with the Maine Education Association and Stanley Subaru to sponsor a school food drive.

Now through Friday, area schools will collect non-perishable food items. It will all be donated back to that school’s food pantry.

You can help too with donations for the Good Shepherd Food Bank’s Backpack program.

Drop off donations at Stanley Subaru in Ellsworth, the Maine Education Association office on Broadway in Bangor, or at TV5 on Hildreth street in Bangor.

All Checks can be made payable to the Good Shepherd Food Bank.
