Ever wonder what the VS casting process is like? Hint: It's rough!

Casting director, Sophia Neophitou-Apostolou, revealed in an interview what it's like behind the scenes of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. It's well known that VS is extremely picky about who models in the show, but this is crazy! Neophitou-Apostolou spoke to Vogue U.K. about the casting process for show.

Despite the long-time Angel status of many of the models, everyone has to interview for the gig. Neophitou-Apostolou admitted that it's quite 'nerve racking.' 'The final decision is made by the whole team, sitting at this long table in a room with really harsh lighting and they have to walk towards us and away from us.'

Considering the models are sporting just underwear, it sounds a lot like trying on underwear with an entire department store watching. I'll pass...

Angels also go to insane lengths to be in shape for the show. Adriana Lima is a VS veteran and has a nutty pre-show routine. Months before the show she works out with a trainer everyday. In the weeks prior she ups that workout to twice a day. As for her diet: A gallon of water a day, and protein shakes made of powdered eggs.

The annual fashion show is set to air December, 10th at 10PM on CBS.
