The names of those involved in a fatal crash last night in Newburgh are released by police.

State Police say a 24 year old man from Albion was killed when he apparently lost control of his vehicle last night on Route 9 last night in the snowy conditions.

Anthony Takacs was the driver and was pronounced dead on the scene and his passenger Nicole Wentworth, 24, of Newburgh sustained a non-life threatening head injury.

Police say Tackacs crossed the center line and collided with a Maine Department of Transportation plow truck being driven by 34 year old Craig Rines of Newburgh.

Police say Rines did not sustain injuries in the crash, which remains under investigation.

Police say the passenger side of the vehicle Takacs was driving was struck by the plow truck.
