Veazie Man Dies After Portland Stabbing

A Veazie man who was stabbed last month outside a Portland restaurant has died from his injuries.

The BDN reports 31-year-old Anthony Best died at Maine Medical Center Friday morning. The incident that led to his being hospitalized for nearly a month before his death began at PT's Showclub in Portland on April 28th. Two groups engaged in an altercation were separated by staff. They later met up again outside Denny's restaurant on Brighton Avenue, where Best was injured in a stabbing.

Portland Police continue to investigate the incident. So far, no one has been charged.
