A Florida woman faces charges after allegedly becoming unruly when her flight from Bangor International Airport was delayed Sunday afternoon because of the weather.

Police say Janet Dinardi, 54, of Nokomis, Fla., was intoxicated while waiting for her Allegiant Air flight to take off from the Bangor airport. Upon hearing of the flight's delay, she began "throwing some personal items around, and loudly spouting profanity," according to a news release.

Bangor Police arrested Dinardi after she allegedly refused to calm down and stop using profanity. She instead directed her profanity at the responding police officer, according to the report. She was told that because of her level of intoxication and unruliness, she would not be able to board the flight, and she was ordered to leave the airport.

Police say she refused to do so. Dinardi faces charges of criminal trespass and disorderly conduct. She was released on bail, and faces a court date of Feb, 3, 2014.
