A Unity woman is facing charges of child endangerment after leaving five children in the car while she got her hair done.

WLBZ-TV reports 32-year-old Melissa Bagley was in the salon for an hour and a half before an employee of the Waterville shopping plaza called police at around 1:30 on Wednesday afternoon. The children ranged in age from 11-weeks-old to 3-years-old, and only two were hers. She was babysitting the other three.

Police caught up to Bagley as she was leaving the parking lot. They said alcohol did not appear to be a factor in the incident. Her children were turned over to a family member while the others were returned to their families.
