Fairfield Woman Arrested After Credit Fraud

The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint from a Troy resident on 12/17/14 reporting an unauthorized charge made to their bank debit card. Deputy Dan Thompson handled the case and began investigating with the assistance of Detective Dale Brown. 

The investigation revealed that Heidy Tirado, 37 of Fairfield, who worked at New Horizon’s Health Care Facility in Unity, had obtained credit and debit card information from several patients and applied for credit to make online purchases totaling over $1,000.00.

On December 19th Tirado was arrested for Class C Theft and taken to the Waldo County Correctional Center. She was later released on $10,000 unsecured bail.
