Two Ice Bars Open in Maine this Week

Ice and alcohol!

A couple of frozen bars are to open this weekend in Maine. First up the The Portland Harbor Hotel annual Ice Bar opens (thirsty) Thursday. It will be open through the weekend however tickets are sold out. You can still find some tickets for opening night though!

This weekend the Glacier Bar at the Samoset Resort re-opens in Rockport. Over 20,000 pounds of ice is carved into sculptures and structures.
