Two men are dead and a third is wounded following shootings overnight in Casco and Naples, according to Maine State Police.

One man -- Norman Strobel, 59, of Naples -- was shot and killed at his mobile home in Naples after a confrontation with Cumberland County deputies. Strobel was being sought for an earlier shooting in Casco.

Inside the mobile home, deputies discovered the body of another man, according to a news release from Maine State Police.

State Police and the Maine Attorney General's Office are now investigating.

Deputies had been looking for Strobel after the first shooting late Saturday night at a camp on Winifred Lane in Casco. There, a man staying inside was shot four times. The wounded man is being treated at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.

A woman, also staying inside the camp, escaped injury. Deputies then went to the mobile home in Naples and exchanged gunfire with Strobel who was shot and killed.

No deputies were injured.
