Save yourself some time on your morning commute the first of this week by avoiding a portion of I-95. Construction will hamper travel through a portion of the city on Monday and Tuesday.

The on-going construction on the Union Street Bridge in Bangor continues to cause traffic headaches. Today, the off-ramp in the southbound lane of I-95 is closed until about mid-morning.

On Tuesday, the northbound on-ramp at Union Street will be closed from around 3 a.m. until mid-morning. Motorists are advised to find an alternate route during their morning commute. The $8.8 million project is expected to last into the spring of 2016.
