Two tornadoes, in two weeks! Still no sharknado though...

The National Weather Service confirmed this morning a small tornado touched down in an area southwest of Sebago Lake yesterday afternoon. Experts found evidence of the tornado in Limington off Rt. 117 on Paul's Way.

No one was seriously hurt during the storm. A teenage boy staying at the Four Seasons campground in Naples was struck by lighting and taken to the hospital. Several thousand CMP customers lost power as well.

Last week, severe weather triggered an EF1 tornado in St. Albans.

Since 1953, 122 tornadoes have formed in Maine. The state averages two per year.
