Say it isn't so!

One of my favorite summertime traditions over the years has been making the drive and heading to Portland for the Old Port Festival. It's a fun afternoon of great live music, food, games, crafts, and of course for those of us old enough to partake, adult beverages.

After 46 fun filled years, the festival will call it a day after the June 9th, 2019, get together, this according to Portland Downtown Executive Director Casey Gilbert. The weird part is that so far Gilbert has given no explanation as to why this unofficial kick off to summer is coming to a close. Bummer.

So if you have never had this excellent experience, you still have one more chance coming up on Sunday, June 9th, in Portland's historic Old Port. Don't pass it up!

As the date get closer, artist performances and schedules will be released, till then check out some videos from past years.
