The Saturdays Perform ‘What About Us’ on ‘The Tonight Show’

As the Saturdays continue their publicity blitz to win over American audiences, the U.K. girl group appeared on ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’ on Monday (Jan. 14) to perform their new single ‘What About Us.

The up-tempo pop song brought a blast of fun to the late-night program. Putting on our reality show judge hat, we have to call out some pitchiness during some of the solo sections, but the harmonies were solid. The performance was the first on U.S. television for Una, Rochelle, Mollie, Frankie and Vanessa.

We’ll be curious to see if backstage footage from the Leno performance will show up on ‘Chasing the Saturdays,’ the girls’ E! reality series that premieres Jan. 20.
