New footage from the upcoming narrative downloadable content for Naughty Dog's The Last of Us has arrived, and now we want to play our Best Game of 2013 all over again. Thanks.

Don't worry about watching the footage, as it takes place before The Last of Us proper, and doesn't spoil anything from the original game.

The footage comes courtesy of IGN, and shows about a minute of footage from the opening of the Left Behind DLC. The add-on will star Ellie before she meets up with Joel, and will focus on her time in a compound with her friend Riley. If you happened to read the excellent comic series The Last of Us: American Dreams from Faith Erin Hicks and Neil Druckmann, you already have a pretty good idea about what this DLC will be like.

Naughty Dog still hasn't announced an actual release date for Left Behind, but whenever it arrives, it will be the best day ever. Left Behind will cost $14.99, unless you picked up the season pass, in which case you'll get it for free.
