The Jonas Brothers are on the “press tour” for their split. Actually, all they did was explain why they decided to pull the plug on the band during a live chat with Robin Roberts on ‘Good Morning America’ this AM (Oct. 30), clearing things up once and for all.
“It was time. It took some time getting there, but we feel it’s time that Jonas Brothers comes to an end,” Kevin said matter-of-factly.
Nick Jonas admitted that he initiated the conversation, so it’s his “fault.” We kid, we kid. The youngest bro pointed out that they are family first.
“I think in a nutshell, I said, I feel like we’d had complications within the group for a long time without addressing them, and [I said] I think the train will fall off the tracks without really getting real about some of the concerns and some of the limitations that we may feel as individuals in the group,” he said about how he broached the subject.
It was a tough conversation, but they are brothers above all else.
They felt the music was getting stale, according to Joe, and he admitted that they butted heads over everything from the music videos to personal opportunities.
Their album ‘V’ will not be finished, but they will release the four completed songs. They will also release live tracks recorded along their last tour to their fan club members as a gift.
Nick will still do music on his own, as will Joe.
And of course Kev will welcome his daughter and work on the business side of things in terms of branding and millennials.
