Fall is officially here at 4:21AM Wednesday September 23. That's the exact moment when the Sun enters the sign of Libra. On the Autumnal equinox day and night are equally long. The sun will also rise directly to the east, and set directly in the west.

In Maine we usually don't see our first fall frost until sometime between October 1-10.
