Holy crap!

Three weeks from today I'll be heading into see Dr. Branch and Dr. Harrington for my tummy tuck and thigh lift. I almost can't believe it's so close. It seems like just yesterday I booked it, and that was THREE MONTHS AGO!

Time sure does fly by! I hope these next three weeks go by fast. I'm starting to get a little anxiety about the recovery part of things. Obviously this surgery is a BIG DEAL! There will be pain, a lot of it!

I've been doing a lot of research on-line. This can be a good thing and a bad thing. Haven't you ever had a common cold, researched the symptoms on-line and diagnosed yourself with pneumonia? HA! Seriously. The Internet is a wonderful thing, but it can be overwhelming and full of bad information.

I'm very fortunate that I have a close relationship with my surgeons and a few friends who have been through similar surgeries. I think I know exactly what to expect. I've already made my first big trip to Walmart for household items and supplies I'll need following the big day.

I'm also very fortunate that my Best Friend is an RN and she will be staying with me for the first couple of nights to make sure I'm doing exactly what I should be doing. I'm famous for trying to push myself! I need to be constantly reminded to take it easy and let my body heal.

I'm wondering if any of you our there any been through similar surgeries. Do you have any tips? advice? Things that worked for you? Didn't work? I'd love to hear from you if so. If you're comfortable commenting on here, that's wonderful! I think we can all benefit from an open forum. If not, you can email me HERE! I look forward to hearing from you!

XOXO,

Breezy
