Taylor Swift Turns Grammy Museum Performance Into an Intimate Garage Band Affair

Taylor Swift's sold out arenas, centers and stadiums along her 1989 World Tour, and now she can add at least one museum to the list.

The Grammy Museum's "The Taylor Swift Experience," which opened in 2014, drew record-breaking crowds. To honor the feat, Swift performed an intimate rendition of "Wildest Dreams" at the Clive Davis Theater that she shared via Twitter last night (January 4).

"Say you'll remember me," T. Swift tweeted with the performance above, in which she — with a single electric guitar — delivers 1989's fifth single. Where the original recording is dreamy and smooth, the live set, which was recorded in September, sounds moodier and bears traces of high school garage band practice.

Swift's Grammy exhibit made its official debut to the public on the singer's 25 birthday (December 13, 2014, in case it slipped your mind) and includes handwritten lyrics of "22," her Grammy trophy for 2009's Best Female Country Vocal Performance ("White Horse" took the prize) and props from music videos like "Shake It Off" among other relics—like a banjo!

Swift can count herself among the display's visitors — she famously danced to her own songs while visiting nearly a year ago. "My behavior was as embarrassing as usual," she captioned the Instagram video above.
