Taylor Swift Education Center to Open in Nashville This Weekend
Taylor Swift‘s Red Tour wrapped its domestic leg, but the singer remains ever busy. She will take some time off from going to the gym and attending premieres in Los Angeles to head back to her adopted hometown of Nashville, where the Taylor Swift Education Center will open at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
The TSEC is opening on Saturday, Oct. 12.
Swift donated $4 million to the museum back in 2012, which was the largest single artist-made donation in the museum’s 46 years of operation.
Two floors, three classrooms, a learning lab and a children’s exhibit gallery are all part of the location. The gallery opens next year, but the facility as a whole is opening ahead of schedule due to T. Swizzle’s generosity.
Swift’s songwriter/artist of the year awards from the Nashville Songwriters Association International will be on display. She is nabbing that award for the sixth time on Sunday, Oct. 13, at the awards and induction ceremony at Music City Center.
Swift has so many awards that it makes sense for her to display them elsewhere, since she probably needs a wing added to one of her homes to store them.
