The moment CBS announced it would take Stephen King's 2009 thriller 'Under the Dome' to series, certain fans rallied behind a cry of "Simpsons did it" given that the 2007 feature-length adaptation of America's favorite animated family featured a similarly domed premise. Both domes proved mere coincidence, with a 2010 'Simpsons' episode even addressing the similarity, but how will CBS' upcoming summer series pay homage to 'The Simpsons' in turn?

The eye network has officially added 'Two and a Half Men' to its other 18 series previously renewed, negotiating new deals with series stars Ashton Kutcher and Jon Cryer for one more year.
