In the coming 18 months, improvements will made to both the runway and passenger facilities at the Airport, having a slight impact on air travel, temporarily.

An overseas flight, bound to New Jersey was diverted to Bangor for an Emergency Landing Friday morning because someone made a threat serious enough to worry the folk in charge onboard the aircraft.

Folks in the greater Bangor area got quite the sight as a massive plane took to circling the skies about the city for the better part of the late morning Tuesday.

If you’re planning on hopping on a flight at any of the major airports in our Pine Tree State, don’t even try to check any of these things in your bags!

With February break fast approaching, many Maine families will be heading out of town, to conceivably warmer and brighter destinations.

We're told the flights that were diverted, ended up going to Portland, with one able to return when the runway re-opened about an hour later.
