The man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting in Bangor on Easter Sunday has been arrested in Ohio.

Bangor Police said in a media release that 40-year-old Antoinne Bethea of New Haven, Connecticut, was a passenger in a vehicle involved in a traffic stop in Euclid, Ohio at around 9:30 Sunday night. The officers involved in the stop ran a warrants check on everyone in the vehicle and discovered that Bethea was wanted in Maine.

Bethea is being held in Ohio on a Maine Murder charge for the death of Terrance Durel. The New Orleans man was in Maine visiting his son and ex-wife when a discussion between Durel and the woman's boyfriend, Bethea, got heated. Durel was shot twice in the incident on Highland Avenue in Bangor and later died at a hospital. Bethea will be brought to Maine to stand trial.
