Bangor Parks and Rec are keeping an eye on the trails with the help of new surveillance cameras.

Vandals beware, the Bangor City Forest now has cameras keeping an eye on the trails. In an effort to stem vandalism in the forest officials at Bangor Parks and Recreation have installed multiple game cameras.

Signs in the Bangor City Forest are repeatedly being vandalized with graffiti. In addition structures in the forest are being spray painted, as well as car break-ins in the parking lots.

The hope is that the extra eyes will make would be vandals think twice about destroying property, or catch them in the act.

The game cameras will regularly change locations around the forest.

We're very lucky to have access to the land and well kept trail systems.

STOP RUINING IT!
