‘Sunday Lungday’ Benefit For Whitney Messier

8 great live bands rock out for a great cause!

Whitney is courageously battling Cystic Fibrosis and is in need of a lung transplant. Unfortunately, it takes more than courage to handle the tremendous financial toll of this disease. Please make plans to attend this worthy fundraising event, to hear some of the area’s best
bands and help ease some of Whitney’s burdens in this difficult time! There will be 50/50 Raffles, a Silent Auction, a Cash Bar and food will be available!

This funding is for Whitney Messier, a 27 year old Cystic Fibrosis patient who is gradually becoming sicker as the years go by. Whitney has always been super independent and has tried very hard to always make her own way in life. It has become harder and harder for her, and now is basically impossible. She has major debt, including credit card debt (she used to get food and keep her car on the road), and college education loans that she cannot repay. She has an overwhelming amount of doctor bills, and is currently in the midst of a hospital stay in Pennsylvania, hundreds of miles away from her home and her regular hospital. She is unsure what here out-of-state insurance will even cover from these current bills. Besides all this, she is about to be going through the process of being considered for a lung transplant. Whitney is never one to ask for help and has always been very private about her disease. She would be very humbled by any help that people are willing to give.
