A drastic makeover for the role of Stranger Things' Eleven wasn't enough to turn Millie Bobby Brown's world upside down.

The 12-year-old actress, whose character first appeared on the Netflix hit completely bald, sported Rapunzel-worthy locks before production began. And in a video she shared on Twitter last night — naturally set to Beyonce's "Pretty Hurts" — Brown documented how, exactly, her mane was reduced to naught.

"#buzzed," she wrote with the clip, which begins with a stylist cutting of bunched sections of Brown's hair before diving in with clippers. There are no Top Model-worthy meltdowns, no cursing Tyra Banks' name, no open-mouthed sobbing into slowly setting bleach treatment.

Some fans were even moved enough by the clip to follow suit and donate their cut hair to charity.

Brown told E! News she was okay with the change after channeling actresses like Charlize Theron, who famously lopped off her hair for tough-as-nails character in Mad Max. Co-star Winona Ryder also served as a bit of inspiration.

"Winona looked cool back in the day with the pixie cut, and I thought maybe I could bring it back," Brown said. "You can't do much with it, but it's great."

"I think it's so cool," Ryder added.
