Specialty Sweets Opens Doors In Downtown Bangor

Specialty Sweets opened its store in Downtown Bangor on Thursday.

The location is the candy shop's second in the city, the other being near the Bangor Mall at 36 Springer Drive.

In a Facebook post, the store owners announced the opening of the store at 31 Main St.

The store is open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. It is closed on Sundays.

A grand opening is planned for sometime in September.
