Snowy Opening Day for the Portland Sea Dogs
Team mascot, Slugger, isn't very impressed with mother nature.
A coating of snow fell on Hadlock field overnight. Slugger was up bright and early this morning to give the grounds crew a hand, or should I say flipper?
The game is scheduled for 6PM, giving the crew all day to clear off the roughly 2 inches of snow. If the game has to be canceled, ticket holders will get two tickets to future Sea Dogs games.
This will be the Sea Dogs 22nd season at Hadlock Field. Last season they set a franchise record with 88 wins.
